Kobolds

Are powerful solitary fae who feed off humanity, be it by worship or fear. They are in many ways a more powerful "cousin" to brownies and hobgoblins, combining traits of both into one. They can change shape and become invisible. They can protect you for a price or torment you till you pay. They often chose whole neighborhoods or towns as their province unlike more limited brownies and they don't mind being seen or acknowledged. Where brownies feed off human's offerings of food, Kobolds feed directly off them spiritually.

Strengths:

• Shapeshifting (including non-humanoid/animal shapes such as inanimate objects and natural elements)
• Gain strength from humanity/"psychic vampirism"
• Invisibility
• Can create both negative and positive probability fields.

Weaknesses:

• Need either positive or negative attention from humanity to keep going.
